Well I just finished 20 of the cutest hats ever. I make these every year. They are a mix of my knit fabrics and I make then in a cloche style hat.
I add a huge flower on each one. I love that about them. I started out these years ago when I made cancer hats for women. A great friend of mine got cancer and I asked one day if she wanted a hat for when she lost her hair.
I love it and it went from there. I decided then that I would try it on fun colors for toddlers. This is a great way to use up fabric that you left over but there is not enough to make anything with it.
Above is one of the hats on a manikin head. I took a picture of them laying flat also. I will post that one too. I like the seams showing on these hats it almost gives it a bit of sassyness. I do not know if that is a word but I like it.
I do not make any 2 alike. I want them all to be different. Since I make them it is OK if I do that. I do know making this last batch of hats broke my serger.
I do not know what is wrong with it. I called my husband in to fix it and it worked for 5 minutes and then it stopped again but this time everything is still threaded so that is a bad sign.
It is a commercial machine and I think it needs to go to a shop. The only thing bad about that is that it weight around 200lbs. At least it feels like that .
My sewing machine man is on vacation in sweden (how nice) but when he comes back I will call and see what I need to do.
Well here are the a few of some other colors.
Well you all have a great Day.
