Well, with the new colors I've gotten I just couldn't wait to make some changing
pads.
Below is a sample of a few of them for you to see.
I love Art Gallery fabric. I don't care what anyone says, I think it has the most Lush
beautiful feel of fabric that I have ever felt!
The one in that blue gray color with the branches of birch trees in it it is
the most beautiful fabric.
It Is by Caratini Ratchet Le. She is a designer at Art Gallery and her stuff is
simply different and gorgeous.
I make these changing pads with a wet dry liner so that when you turn them over it is
softer for the baby's head, but then if there is a little accident it will hold them
because there is a plastic background. I should not say plastic; it is some kind
of polyurethane that keeps it from leaking through, which is what you want. Then
you can simply roll it up, take it home and throw it in the wash for a little while
It is just what everybody wants: easy wash and dry. I think that it is better to hang
iit dry if possible because of the plastic. Too much heat might make
it shrink.
I also got some beautiful elastics from a real good friend of mine.
She sells elastic and the colors that came with these are just perfect for all
the stuff I was making.
Well, I hope you enjoy them. Hope to see you all soon,
Susan
